• About Abraham Biderman

    A New York City, New York-based investment management executive with a high level of civic involvement, Abraham "Abe" Biderman is the director of South Brooklyn Community Organization and the Metropolitan New York Coordinating Council on Jewish Poverty. He is also a member of the New York City Partnership's Fiscal Opportunities Task Force and Conference on Jewish Claims Against Germany's Investment Committee. In addition, Abraham Biderman is a trustee of Touro College and co-chairman of The Fund for Russian Immigrant Children in Israel.

    Abraham Biderman has served as chairman at the diversified financial advisory firm Eagle Strategic Advisors since 2003. He concurrently worked as managing director at Palladium Capital Advisors from 2006 to 2018. Before launching Eagle Strategic Advisors, he spent 13 years as executive vice president at Lipper & Company, L.P., responsible for $5 billion in assets under management.

    In addition to his private investment management experience, Abe Biderman worked for nearly 15 years in the public sector. He served as special advisor to New York City mayors Rudy Giuliani and Ed Koch. He served as commissioner for both the New York City Housing and Finance agencies and was chairman of the New York City Retirement System. Complementing his experience, he holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the City University of New York.
